Objective of the role:

To partner with business leaders in aligning people strategy with business objectives by driving talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management, while fostering a high-performance culture and delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Role & responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Partnering

- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Understand business priorities, workforce requirements, and growth plans.
- Provide HR insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Drive manpower planning in collaboration with business heads.
- Support critical and leadership hiring.
- Ensure timely recruitment to meet business needs.

3. Performance Management

- Facilitate goal setting, performance reviews, and appraisal cycles.
- Coach managers on performance management and feedback.
- Address performance improvement plans (PIPs) where required.

4. Employee Relations

- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
- Resolve employee grievances and workplace conflicts.
- Foster a positive employee experience and engagement.

5. Talent Management & Succession Planning

- Identify high-potential employees.
- Develop succession plans for key positions.
- Support career development and internal mobility.

6. Learning & Development

- Conduct training needs analysis.
- Coordinate technical, behavioral, and leadership development programs.




- Monitor learning effectiveness and skill enhancement initiatives.

7. Compensation & Benefits

- Support salary benchmarking and annual compensation reviews.
- Ensure fair and competitive reward practices.
- Advise managers on compensation decisions within company policies.

8. Employee Engagement

- Plan and execute engagement initiatives.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and action planning.
- Promote organizational culture and values.

9. HR Analytics & MIS

- Track HR metrics such as:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Recruitment TAT
- Employee productivity
- Absenteeism
- Training hours
- Diversity metrics

- Provide dashboards and insights to business leaders.

10. HR Policies & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support disciplinary actions and domestic inquiries where applicable.
- Maintain HR documentation and statutory compliance.

11. Change Management

- Support organizational restructuring and transformation initiatives.
- Drive communication and employee adoption during change.
- Assist leaders in managing organizational transitions.

12. Stakeholder Management

- Build strong relationships with business leaders and functional heads.




- Partner with COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D;, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations).
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations for workforce planning and budgeting.

Preferred candidate profile

- Full-time MBA/MSW in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
- 12 to 15 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing/engineering/automotive setting.
- Strong experience in HR Business Partnering, partnering with business leaders to drive people strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Hands-on expertise in Talent Acquisition, including workforce planning, lateral and leadership hiring, and stakeholder management.
- Strong exposure to Talent Management, including performance management, succession planning, employee development, competency mapping, and high-potential identification.
- Proven experience in employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
- Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR policies applicable to manufacturing organizations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in HR dashboards, workforce analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience working closely with Plant Heads, Business Leaders, and Functional Heads to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Exposure to HRIS/SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar HR platforms will be an added advantage.
