Role & responsibilities
- Review and edit academic, scientific, or technical content for grammar, punctuation, syntax, and style
- Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, and structure across documents
- Collaborate with authors, content creators, and publishing teams to meet quality standards and deadlines
- Apply client-specific style guides (APA, AMA, Chicago, etc.) and follow e-publishing best practices
- Perform quality checks and final proofreads before publication
Preferred candidate profile
- 2+ years of experience in language editing, copy editing, or academic publishing
- Robust command of the English language with keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools and style guides
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
