Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Corporate will provide strategic financial leadership and
oversee all financial operations of the Group. This senior position is responsible for driving
financial performance, ensuring solid governance, optimizing cash flow, and supporting
growth initiatives. The CFO will report to CMD and work closely with the Board and Business
Heads to guide long-term financial planning and risk management.
Key Responsibilities.
1. Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys growth
objectives.
Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
Provide strategic insights to the CMD/Board to support decision-making.
Ensuring Transaction Readiness for IPO
2. Budgeting & Performance Management
Develop robust annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
Track financial performance, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective
actions
Drive cost optimization and improve margins.
3. Funding, Banking Relations & Capital Management
Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Negotiate credit facilities, monitor covenants, and optimize borrowing costs.
Oversee investment decisions and capital allocation.
Spearhead the fund raising process through PE/IPO
4.Financial Operations Management
Oversee accounting, taxation, budgeting, treasury, and MIS functions.
Ensure accurate and timely financial statements as per statutory and management
requirements.
Manage cash flows, working capital, and capital expenditure planning
5. Risk Management
Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks.
Implement mitigation frameworks and strengthen internal controls.
Oversee insurance coverage and enterprise risk management.
6. Strategic Business Support
Evaluate business cases for expansion, diversification, and CAPEX.
Support M&A;, joint ventures, or new project financial feasibility studies.
Guide business heads with financial insights to improve performance.
7. Compliance, Audit & Governance
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory
norms.
Establish and monitor strong internal controls and financial policies.
Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
8. Leadership & People Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
Build a high-performing finance function with strong accuracy, ethics, and efficiency.
Drive digital transformation and automation in financial processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
12 -15 years of overall financial experience with at least 5–8 years in a senior role.
Experience working in mid-sized manufacturing organizations (100–200 crore
turnover preferred).
Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
Proven track record in cash-flow management, debt management, and cost
optimization.
