Responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines to ensure maximum machine availability, productivity, and safety in an auto-components manufacturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
*Machine Maintenance
*Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines
*Diagnose mechanical faults in spindles, ball screws, guideways, lubrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics
*Carry out alignment, leveling, and accuracy checks of machines
*Replace/repair worn-out mechanical components
*Troubleshooting
*Identify root causes of machine failures and implement corrective actions
*Coordinate with electrical maintenance for control/servo issues
*Restore machines quickly to minimize downtime
*Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
*Execute scheduled PM plans and checklists
*Monitor vibration, noise, temperature, lubrication, and backlash
*Maintain lubrication systems and coolant systems
Documentation & Compliance
*Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and history cards
*Track spares consumption and raise indents
*Follow safety standards and 5S practices
*Technical Skills Required
*Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC mechanical systems
*Understanding of spindle assemblies, ball screws, LM guideways
Hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance
Machine leveling, alignment, and accuracy testing
*Ability to read mechanical drawings
Familiarity with auto-components machining processes
