Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager Human Resources to lead and manage the complete HR function for our organization. The ideal candidate should have 1015 years of progressive HR experience in the IT industry and possess strong expertise in end-to-end HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR policies, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives. The candidate will play a key role in building a high-performance culture while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including manpower planning,sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top IT talent.
- Build strong talent pipelines through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
- Partner with business leaders to understand hiring requirements and workforce planning.
HR Operations
- Manage complete HR operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS.
- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and employee benefits administration.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR processes and continuous process improvements.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve morale, productivity, and retention.
- Organize employee events, wellness programs, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Drive employee satisfaction surveys and implement action plans.
Performance Management
- Manage the performance appraisal process, goal setting, KPI tracking, and performance reviews.
- Support managers in performance improvement plans and employee development.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives based on business requirements.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop,review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution professionally.
- Maintain compliance with audits and internal governance standards.
Strategic HR
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational development and workforce planning.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve talent management and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive HR transformation initiatives, automation, and best practices.
- Develop succession planning and retention strategies for key talent.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR functions.
- Expertise in IT recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Excellent knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.
- Sound understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
Qualifications
- MBA/MSW/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 10–15 years of relevant HR experience, with significant experience in the IT/Software industry.
- Experience managing a team of HR professionals is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in rapid-growing IT product or software services organizations.
- Exposure to HR digital transformation and HR analytics.
- Experience in scaling organizations and implementing HR best practices.
- Ability to work closely with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.Role & responsibilities
