Role: Senior QA Engineer (Functional Testing)

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Guindy, Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities:

- 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Manual Testing experience in Web Application Testing, with a strong understanding of STLC and QA methodologies.
- Expertise in requirement analysis, test scenario/test case design, and execution of Functional, Regression, UI, Usability, Cross-browser, and Retesting activities.
- Hands-on experience in REST API Testing (Postman/JMeter), SQL for data validation, and defect management using JIRA/Azure DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Responsible for end-to-end manual testing, including creating test plans, test cases, executing test cycles, managing test data, and ensuring product quality across releases.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to identify, log, track, and resolve defects, while supporting production issue analysis and sprint deliveries.
- Exposure to AI-powered testing tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for test case generation and requirement analysis; valuable-to-have knowledge of Mobile Testing, JMeter Performance Testing, Basic Automation, Xray, and CI/CD.
