The group conducts research on DC - DC power converters, grid connected energy systems, Phase - Lock Loop (PLL) synchronization techniques, and AI - enabled control architectures for next - generation energy applications. This position will involve RD focussed on:

- Advanced modelling and design of DC - DC converters.
- Data - driven modelling and intelligent control of power electronic systems.
- PLL design and grid synchronization for grid - connected converters.
- AI/ML based control, optimization, and fault diagnosis.
- Real - time implementation. The position also offers opportunities for industry collaboration.

Desirable Skills:



Strong knowledge of small - signal modelling and stability analysis of power electronic systems. Digital control design and implementation for power converters.

- Application of AI and ML techniques for control, optimization of Power converters.
- Robust programming skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and embedded programming environments.
- Experience in experimental validation, hardware prototyping, and testing of power electronic converters.
