Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Manage load tendering, carrier coordination, and vehicle placement through transportation management systems.
- Ensure on-time pickups, dock appointment adherence, and vehicle availability.
- Track shipments in transit, monitor delays, and provide ETA updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve delivery exceptions, returns, refusals, and unloading issues.
- Coordinate Proof of Delivery (POD) collection and freight settlement activities.
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Monitor transportation KPIs, compliance, and cost-performance metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field.
- 25 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations.
- Experience working with 3PLs, carriers, and transportation service providers.
- Proficiency in SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and MS Excel.
- Robust communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
