Role Purpose

Lead the end-to-end manufacturing operations of the plant, ensuring excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and People. The role will be responsible for driving operational performance, manufacturing efficiency, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction in a high-volume, precision automotive component manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall manufacturing operations, ensuring achievement of production targets, customer delivery commitments, and business objectives.
- Drive operational excellence through improvements in productivity, OEE, cycle time, throughput, capacity utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Oversee precision plastic injection molding, stamping, assembly and related manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to automotive quality standards and customer requirements, minimizing rejections, rework, and customer complaints.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Drive cost optimization through process improvements, waste reduction, automation, and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Tool Room, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead recent product introductions, process industrialization, capacity expansion, and automation projects.




- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, molds, materials, and other manufacturing resources.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and EHS requirements.
- Develop and mentor manufacturing teams, building a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer Engineering, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of manufacturing experience, with significant experience leading plant operations in the automotive or auto-component industry.
- Strong exposure to precision plastic injection molding and high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience in automotive connectors, electrical/electronic components, sensors, wiring harness components, or other precision molded products will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, mold maintenance, engineering polymers, process optimization, cycle time reduction, and OEE improvement.
- Demonstrated success in driving productivity enhancement, quality improvement, cost optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
