About the Role:
We are looking for an ITI Fitter to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or recently graduated ITI candidates to build a career in precision manufacturing within an IATF 16949-certified environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fit, and adjust sheet metal components and sub-assemblies as per drawings and specifications
- Operate and maintain fitting tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on shop floor equipment
- Carry out preventive maintenance checks to minimize breakdowns
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Ensure work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols
- Support production targets while maintaining accuracy and consistency
- Report any equipment issues or deviations to the shift supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- ITI certification in Fitter trade
- Freshers welcome full on-the-job training provided
- Basic understanding of hand tools, measuring instruments, and fitting techniques
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing/shop floor environment
Positive to Have:
- Prior exposure to sheet metal or precision manufacturing (not mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO)
