- Fabricate, assemble, and repair press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in sheet metal production
- Perform precision fitting and machining to maintain tool accuracy and tolerances
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on tools and dies
- Read and interpret tool drawings and engineering specifications
- Coordinate with production team to minimize tool-related downtime
- Inspect and measure components using precision instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge)
- Maintain records of tool maintenance and repair history
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards during all tool-related work
Preferred candidate profile
- ITI certification in Tool & Die Making, Fitter, or related trade
- Freshers welcome full on-the-job training provided
- Basic knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Willingness to learn press tool and die maintenance
- Prior exposure to tool room work is a plus, not mandatory
