Role & responsibilities

- Design panel enclosures and structural assemblies (floor, wall, outdoor, marine) and prepare GA, fabrication, and assembly drawings
- Design sheet metal components busbar chambers, cable alleys, partitions, and compartment layouts
- Ensure designs comply with IEC/IS and marine standards, covering IP ratings, ventilation, and thermal management
- Prepare BOMs and maintain design revisions/documentation
- Coordinate with Electrical, Production, Procurement, and QA/QC teams during fabrication and inspection
- Implement design changes per customer feedback and support FAT/client discussions

Key Skills

- Robust knowledge of electrical panel enclosure design and sheet metal fabrication
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related design software
- Good understanding of fabrication processes, structural design, and manufacturing practices
- Knowledge of panel industry standards, IP protection requirements, and thermal considerations
- Ability to optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and functionality
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
