Job Description:
The FC Learning Associate plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and workforce performance by planning, creating, and executing comprehensive training programs. This role manages the end-to-end learning lifecycle for up to 2,000 associate and contract employees, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reducing floor errors, and collaborating cross-functionally across the fulfillment center.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery & Execution
- Run new-hire inductions, regular role-based training, process updates, and refresher courses.
- Combine classroom sessions, online webinars, and hands-on practical training.
- Apply adult learning principles and clear warehouse process knowledge.
- Communicate effectively in English, Kannada, Hindi, and local languages.
- 2. On-the-Floor Support & Process Management
- Work directly on the floor alongside contract trainers to catch and prevent operational errors.
- Manage the full training lifecyclefrom Day 1 onboarding through offboardingfor up to 2,000 workers.
- Ensure strict adherence to workflow steps and assist in successfully passing internal and external audits.
- Correctly place workers into appropriate departments following their training completion.
- Act as a process Subject Matter Expert (SME), master live systems, and perform floor tasks directly.
- 3. Team Guidance & Operational Flexibility
- Lead and support trainers and Data Entry Operators (DEOs) to complete practical training on schedule.
- Ensure total alignment with team SOPs.
- Adapt to versatile working hours,
including day/night shifts and weekends, as driven by operational demand.
- 4. Needs Analysis & Content Creation
- Identify performance gaps and struggling areas on the floor to design targeted interventions.
- Develop clear, accessible training materials for both floor workers and office teams.
- Conduct soft-skills and basic communication workshops to boost overall associate performance.
- 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner as the primary L&D; point of contact with Operations, Quality, HR, Planning, and Security.
- Lead and participate in daily, weekly, and monthly management syncs to report updates and resolve floor challenges.
- 6. Tracking, Reporting & LMS Management
- Create and publish weekly and monthly training schedules.
- Maintain accurate dashboards, reports, and spreadsheets for training scores and timelines.
- Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and tracking tools to evaluate whether training converts into improved daily output on the floor.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse/logistics operations, training delivery, or L&D; operations.
- Languages: Fluency (written and spoken) in English, Hindi, Kannada, and local languages.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic tracking tools, Excel/spreadsheets, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts (day/night shifts, weekends, extra hours) according to business needs.
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong communication, team guidance, and process management skills.
