Analyzer Service Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Analyzer Service Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in industrial analyzer systems. The role involves installation, commissioning, preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for a wide range of analyzer products including Gas Chromatographs (GC), Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Tunable Diode Laser Spectrometers (TDLS), SWAS, Zirconia Oxygen Analyzers, and other process analyzers.
The candidate should possess hands-on experience with Yokogawa and other leading analyzer OEM products, along with a solid understanding of analyzer applications, sample conditioning systems, calibration, and system integration. The position requires working closely with customers, project teams, and regional service teams to ensure successful project execution and high-quality after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, startup, and performance verification of analyzer systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving analyzer hardware, software, communication, and application-related issues.
- Execution of preventive, corrective, and AMC maintenance activities.
- Calibration, validation, and optimization of analyzer systems for reliable operation.
- Technical support to customers and regional service teams.
- Preparation of service reports, technical documentation, and root cause analysis reports.
- Conducting customer training and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Supporting service business growth through identification of upgrade, retrofit, and spare parts opportunities.
- Adhering to safety standards, quality procedures, and customer site requirements.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Instrumentation
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in analyzer service, commissioning, or maintenance.
- Experience in Refineries, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Fertilizer, Steel, or Chemical industries is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
- Knowledge of analyzer systems, sample conditioning systems, and industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read P&IDs;, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
- Good communication, customer handling, and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently at customer sites.
Travel Requirement
This position requires extensive field service activities with approximately 80% travel across customer locations in North and South India. Candidates should be flexible and willing to travel at short notice for commissioning, maintenance, and emergency service support.
