- Expert-level CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, Sketcher, tube/pipe routing modules) Teamcenter BOM management, change/release workflows, design-in-context FSS CAD Check validation against master section and underbody surfaces
- Own detailed 3D modelling and drafting of suspension components (control arms, knuckles, struts, bushings, subframes, links, springs, dampers) using CATIA V5.
- Build and maintain robust, parametric, and associative CAD models that support downstream CAE, manufacturing, and tooling requirements.
- Manage full product lifecycle data (EBOM structure, effectivity, engineering change notices) within Teamcenter / 3DX
- Ensure design intent aligns with GD&T; requirements, datum strategy, and tolerance stack-up specific to suspension kinematics and hard points.
- Conduct detailed underbody packaging studies ensuring exhaust routing clears fuel tank, propshaft, subframe, and heat-sensitive components.
- Perform IPS checks to validate thermal clearance to plastic, rubber, and heat-sensitive components across full exhaust system operating temperature range.
