Job Summary
The AGM Projects is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering real estate projects within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and statutory requirements. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project completion from inception to handover.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement project execution strategies and construction schedules.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines and budgets.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
Construction Management
- Oversee all in office construction activities.
- Monitor contractor performance, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
Cost & Budget Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow requirements.
- Review and approve contractor bills and vendor payments.
- Control project costs through value engineering and optimization initiatives.
- Track project expenditures and report variances.
Quality Assurance & Safety
- Implement quality control systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with construction quality standards and company policies.
- Monitor safety practices and adherence to EHS regulations.
- Conduct quality and safety audits periodically.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, sales, and legal departments.
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and local bodies.
- Facilitate smooth communication among all project stakeholders.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations, and statutory approvals.
- Monitor adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals from government agencies.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Present project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management.
- Maintain project dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Establish performance objectives and monitor team productivity.
- Drive a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Master's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or MBA preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
Experience
- 15 -18 years of experience in real estate construction and project management.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale residential projects.
- Experience in handling projects from planning through handover.
