We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP EWM Senior Consultant with solid technical expertise in SAP ABAP and deep functional exposure to Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex EWM-related developments in S/4HANA or ECC environments, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Development & Solutioning

- Design, develop, and implement complex ABAP solutions in SAP EWM landscape
- Retail/CPG industry experience is a big plus.
- Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
- Develop custom enhancements using BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, BTEs
- Build and support RF framework, PPF actions, Queue processing, and EWM-specific developments
- Deliver high-quality code adhering to coding standards and performance optimization

2. EWM Functional & Technical Integration

- Work closely with functional teams to translate EWM business requirements into technical design
- Support key EWM processes like:
- Inbound/Outbound Processing
- Warehouse Task & Order Management
- Handling Units (HU)
- RF Transactions
- Putaway / Picking / Packing

- Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, TM, and other SAP modules

3. Interface & Integration Development

- Design and develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, APIs
- Work on middleware integrations (PI/PO, CPI if applicable)
- Support third-party warehouse systems and external integrations

4. Support & Issue Resolution

- Provide production support, defect analysis, and resolution
- Perform root cause analysis for technical issues




- Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of critical defects

5. Design & Documentation

- Prepare and review:
- Technical Design Documents (TDD)
- Functional Specifications (FS) validation
- Code review and unit test documents

- Ensure compliance with project standards and documentation practices

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with:
- Functional consultants
- Business stakeholders
- Project managers

- Participate in client discussions, requirement workshops, and solution walkthroughs

7. Quality & Delivery

- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks
- Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT phases
- Follow Agile / Waterfall project methodologies

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (8+ years experience)
- Hands-on in:
- EWM-specific developments
- RICEFW objects
- Enhancements (BADI, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)

- Experience in:

- IDocs, BAPI, RFC, OData
- Performance tuning and debugging

- Exposure to S/4HANA ABAP (preferred)

Functional Exposure

- Strong understanding of SAP EWM processes
- Integration knowledge with MM, SD, TM modules

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have

- Experience in S/4HANA EWM implementations
- Exposure to CPI / API-based integrations
- Prior experience in AMS / Support projects
