Oracle Fusion Cloud CPQ Solution Architect

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud CPQ Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) solutions built on Oracle Fusion Cloud CPQ. This individual will serve as the technical and functional leader responsible for defining scalable architecture, establishing best practices, and driving the successful delivery of CPQ capabilities across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle CPQ expertise with solid business acumen and enterprise architecture experience. This role will partner closely with executive stakeholders, Sales Operations, Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT leadership to deliver modern CPQ solutions that improve operational efficiency, pricing accuracy, customer experience, and business scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud CPQ solutions supporting global Quote-to-Cash initiatives.
- Define scalable architecture for product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, document generation, and contract lifecycle integration.
- Establish enterprise standards, design patterns, governance, and best practices for Oracle CPQ implementations.
- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into scalable technical and functional solution designs.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide strategic recommendations for future platform enhancements.

Oracle CPQ Leadership

- Design and oversee complex:
- Product configurators
- Commerce processes
- Pricing engines
- Discounting strategies
- Approval workflows
- Proposal and document generation

- Architect reusable configuration frameworks that support multiple product lines and business units.
- Drive optimization of Quote-to-Cash processes through automation and workflow improvements.





Enterprise Integration

- Architect integrations between Oracle CPQ and:
- Oracle Fusion ERP
- Oracle Order Management
- Oracle Pricing
- Oracle SCM
- Oracle CX/CRM
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Third-party CRM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms

- Design API, middleware, and event-driven integration strategies using REST, SOAP, Oracle Integration Cloud, and related technologies.
- Ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable integrations across enterprise systems.

Technical Leadership

- Provide architectural oversight for development teams implementing BML, BMQL, APIs, integrations, and custom extensions.
- Mentor CPQ analysts, developers, and administrators while promoting development standards and coding best practices.
- Lead solution estimation, technical design sessions, and implementation planning.
- Review technical deliverables and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Business Partnership

- Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define CPQ strategy and long-term platform roadmap.
- Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and reduce manual effort through automation.
- Lead workshops, requirements sessions, solution demonstrations, and executive presentations.
- Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.

Governance & Delivery

- Lead Oracle quarterly release planning, regression testing, and feature adoption.
- Establish governance for configuration management, security, compliance, documentation, and change control.




- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of the CPQ platform.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of Oracle CPQ Cloud experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations.
- 10+ years of experience designing enterprise Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) solutions.
- Deep expertise in:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud CPQ
- Oracle Fusion ERP
- Oracle Order Management
- Oracle Pricing
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

- Proven experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of:

- BML
- BMQL
- JSON
- XML
- SQL

- Experience leading architecture decisions across cross-functional enterprise teams.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Oracle CPQ Cloud Certified Implementation Professional.
- Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Configure-to-Order (CTO), Engineer-to-Order (ETO), or complex manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud, Oracle CX Cloud, Oracle Subscription Management, or Oracle Revenue Management.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Experience designing cloud-native integrations and enterprise API strategies.
