Job Description Senior Engineer Production

Position: Senior Engineer – Production
Industry: Engineering Plastic Injection Moulding
Location: Irungattukottai, Chennai
Experience: 15-20 Years

Max CTC - 7 Lakhs
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastic Technology or Production Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production activities to achieve production targets.
- Optimise injection moulding processes for quality, productivity, and cycle time reduction.
- Troubleshoot moulding defects and process-related issues.
- Handle processing of engineering plastic raw materials and ensure optimum machine parameters.
- Improve OEE, reduce rejection/scrap, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Planning, and Stores.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Lead and train production operators and technicians.

- Knowledge of Engineering Plastic Raw Materials: PA6, PA66, PBT, ABS, PC, PC-ABS, POM, PPS, PET, Nylon (GF), PP and other engineering thermoplastics
- Moulding Defect Analysis
- OEE Improvement
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S & Kaizen
- ERP/SAP & MS Excel
