Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AEM Engineer to join our technology team. This role is pivotal in driving our digital transformation, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform to deliver exceptional retail experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, code, and test new and existing AEM software components and templates.

Develop and customize AEM UI, workflows (custom and OOB), schedulers, and components to support studio processes.

Investigate, triage, and resolve production issues and software-related bottlenecks in AEM environments.

Maintain and enhance existing software applications while identifying security and performance improvements.

Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering excellence.

AI-Accelerated Development: Utilize AI-integrated IDEs (e.g., Cursor) and LLMs (e.g., Gemini, Qodo) to rapidly prototype, generate boilerplate, and refactor Java-based AEM services and components.

Leverage AI tools to generate comprehensive unit tests, perform automated code reviews, and maintain high-quality documentation (Sling Models, OSGi services, and API specs) as the platform evolves.

Required Skills

Technical Requirements

Deep expertise in Java (Java 21+ preferred) and mastery of the AEM-specific OSGi and Sling Framework ecosystems.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Proficiency in AEM architecture, including UI Customizations, Custom Workflows, Schedulers, and Template development.

Familiarity with AEM monitoring tools and experience in high-traffic retail environments.

Experience with DevOps practices, automated CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures (GCP/Kubernetes).

Modern Development Practices

Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and agentic workflows.

Demonstrated ability to leverage LLMs and modern AI tools to optimize AEM development cycles and ensure rigorous code quality.
