Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Proposal Engineer to join our team at FLSmidth Private Limited. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate and competitive technical and commercial proposals for capital projects in the mining and cement industries globally.

Job Responsibilities

- Analyze requests for proposals (RFPs) and client requirements to understand the project scope and objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, product management, and other internal departments to develop technical solutions and pricing strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive proposal documentation, including technical descriptions, process flow diagrams, scope of work, schedules, and price lists.
- Ensure all proposals meet FLSmidth's technical and commercial standards, as well as specific client requirements.
- Estimate project costs and resource requirements, working closely with the estimating and procurement teams.
- Participate in internal proposal reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.
- Deliver technical and sales presentations to clients as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor technologies, and industry best practices.




- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of proposal preparation processes and tools.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining, or similar).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in proposal preparation or sales engineering roles, preferably within the mining or cement industry.
- Solid understanding of engineering processes, equipment, and solutions used in heavy industry.
- Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and develop transparent and concise technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a global environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project planning tools.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
