Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Consultant responsible for supporting, enhancing, monitoring, and developing integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. The role involves both Application Management Services (AMS) support and development of recent interfaces using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, SAP BASIS teams, and external vendors to ensure stable integration operations while delivering scalable and secure integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

AMS Support Activities

Incident Management

- Analyze and resolve CPI-related incidents and service requests.

- Troubleshoot message failures, mapping errors, certificate issues, connectivity problems, and integration runtime errors.

- Monitor interface health and ensure SLA compliance.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents.

- Coordinate with SAP functional, Basis, cloud, and third-party teams for issue resolution.

Monitoring & Operations

- Monitor interface execution using:

- SAP Integration Suite Monitoring

- Message Processing Logs (MPL)

- Cloud ALM / Solution Manager (if applicable)

- Manage failed message reprocessing.

- Monitor interface performance and throughput.

- Support transport deployment and release activities.

Change & Enhancement Requests

- Perform minor enhancements to existing interfaces.

- Modify mappings, value mappings,



message transformations, and routing logic.

- Conduct impact analysis and effort estimation.

- Prepare technical documentation and KT artifacts.

New Interface Development

Design & Development

- Design and develop integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI.

- Develop interfaces between:

- SAP S/4HANA

- SAP ECC

- SAP SuccessFactors

- SAP Ariba

- SAP Concur

- SAP IBP

- SAP BTP Services

- Non-SAP applications

- Third-party cloud applications

Integration Technologies

Develop and support integrations using:

- REST API

- SOAP Web Services

- OData

- IDoc

- RFC/BAPI

- SFTP

- HTTP/HTTPS

- JDBC

- SuccessFactors Adapters

- Ariba Adapters

- Mail Adapters

- Event-based Integrations

Data Transformation

- Create complex message mappings.

- Develop XSLT transformations.

- Perform XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI conversions.

- Configure Groovy scripts for advanced transformations and validations.

Security Implementation

- Certificate management.

- OAuth authentication.

- Basic authentication.

- Principal propagation.

- JWT/SAML-based security configurations.
