Role & responsibilities

- Lead the complete Gravity Die Casting facility operations and process engineering activities.
- Responsible for achieving PQCDS (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Safety) targets by planning and enhancing casting manufacturing capacity for both new and existing products.
- Drive process quality improvements, support new product industrialization, optimize manufacturing processes, and lead the development and mentoring of engineering teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Plan, evaluate, procure, install, and commission capital equipment for casting operations.
- Develop, evaluate, and finalize manufacturing cell layouts to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Lead technical design reviews of manufacturing cells, ensuring stage-wise project milestones and target achievements are met.
- Drive new product development (NPD) from feasibility to SOP.
- Capacity planning, process optimization, and productivity improvement.
- Lead APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, and process validation activities.




- Plan and execute CAPEX projects, equipment installation, and commissioning.
- Implement lean manufacturing, SMED, Kaizen, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Drive rejection reduction, process capability improvement, and quality enhancement.
- Lead cross-functional teams for product launches and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, and customer requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma (17 to 19 years experience) or B.E./B.Tech (15 to 18 years experience) in PED
- Preferred Industry: Die Casting / Aluminium Casting / Casting Components/ Foundry
- Hands-on exposure to casting process development and manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in die development, process validation, capacity planning, and industrial engineering.
- Solid knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, Control Plan, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Team handling and leadership experience.
