Job Purpose
The Project Engineer provides technical support and coordination during the execution of manufacturing projects. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and shop floor implementation, ensuring that technical requirements are accurately translated into
project activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in developing project plans, technical specifications, and work packages.
- Coordinate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure engineering requirements are correctly implemented on the shop floor.
- Review and validate technical drawings, equipment specifications, and vendor submittals.
- Track engineering deliverables and flag technical risks or deviations to the Project Manager.
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and trials in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety norms, and quality protocols during project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Familiarity with CAD tools, and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Understanding of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and process systems.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
