- 9-14 years of experience in Mainframe DBA role with expertise in DB2IMSIDMS on zOS.
- Strong knowledge of Administering Database Systems on Mainframe Platform (DB2).
- Proficiency in developing JCL jobs for batch processing.
- Experience with IBM DB2 tools like IDS/IDMS.
Detailed JD:
- 8 Years of Experience in Administering Database Systems on Mainframe Platform
- Well Versed with Db2IMSIDMS on zOS
- Proficient in SQL JCL REXX TSOISPF CICS
- Should have good exposure on Db2 Migrations
- Design create and maintain DB2 databases table spaces tables indexes and views
- Optimize database performance and space utilization
- Execute routine tasks like LOAD REORG RUNSTATS and RECOVERY
- Implement strategies for data backup recovery and disaster recovery
- Assist application teams with SQL issues data refreshes and technical advice
- Diagnosing and resolving database issues preventing outages and slowdowns
- Well versed with ITIL Processes
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn
- Positive communication skills
- Should be able to provide inputs for Solutions RFPQI
- Secondary skills of StorageMiddleware administration or Operations is an added advantage
