Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Zuora Technical Lead to design, implement, and lead billing solutions in Satcom BSS environments. The candidate will play a key role in subscription lifecycle management, billing transformation, and revenue automation, ensuring scalable and compliant billing systems aligned with Satcom industry standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Zuora Billing Subscription Management

- Lead design and implementation of Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue solutions
- Configure complex subscription models, pricing and invoicing
- Manage usage-based billing, recurring billing, and multi-currency pricing
- Define billing rules, taxation, proration, and revenue recognition configurations

BSS Integration

- Architect and implement integrations between Zuora and OSS/BSS systems (CRM, Provisioning, Mediation, ERP)
- Lead API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) with systems such as:
- CRM (Salesforce )
- Mediation systems for usage feeds
- ERP (SAP / Oracle Finance)

- Ensure real-time and batch integration orchestration

Telecom / Satcom Domain Expertise

- Translate Satcom billing scenarios including:
- Rating and charging (CDRs/UDRs processing)
- Bundled offerings (voice, data, satellite services)

- Design billing for subscription + usage-based hybrid models
- Handle complex partner settlements and revenue sharing

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical leadership to development teams
- Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams

Customization Development

- Develop custom logic using:
- Muelsoft APIs, workflows, and extensions
- Middleware platforms (MuleSoft,



Dell Boomi, etc.)

- Configure Zuora Workflow, Data Query, and Reporting
- Extend Zuora functionality where required

Testing Deployment

- Lead SIT/UAT cycles and production deployments
- Ensure data integrity during migration and transformation
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for Zuora deployments

Requirements

Required Skills Qualifications:

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Zuora Billing (mandatory)
- Experience with:
- Zuora Billing Zuora Revenue (preferred)
- REST APIs integration frameworks

- Programming/scripting knowledge:

- Java / Python / JavaScript

- Experience with middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
- Strong understanding of:

- Subscription lifecycle management
- Billing cycles, invoicing, taxation

Domain Expertise

- Minimum 8-10 years in Telecom / Satcom BSS/OSS billing
- Hands-on experience in:
- Subscription management systems
- Telecom / Satcom product catalog and charging systems
- High-volume transaction processing

Leadership Skills

- Experience in leading technical teams of 3-5 members
- Solid stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs

Preferred Qualifications:

- Zuora certifications (Zuora Billing Consultant / Admin / Architect)
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
