Job Description

- Solid expertise in IBM Mainframe, IBM COBOL, CICS, IMS, VSAM, DB2, JCL, and other Mainframe/COBOL platform technologies.
- Experience working within the IBM Mainframe environment & ecosystem or any other COBOL platform.
- Act as a Mainframe/COBOL Platform SME for key technical discussions during source application analysis and inventory understanding phases of modernization programs.
- Drive design and development activities to achieve desired outcomes through converted code.
- Collaborate with customer application SMEs.
- Offer ideas and options for complex legacy technology constructs and how they can be converted to target technologies.
- Proactively tackle challenges as they arise.
- Provide continuous improvement feedback for product enrichment.
- Willingness to learn distributed environments.

Good to Have

- Experience in Application Modernization/Mainframe Data Migration projects.
- Knowledge of Java, Databases, Java Application Architecture, and Cloud Deployment.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies.
- Prior experience in the BFSI domain.
