Key Responsibilities

Procurement Sourcing

- Manage the procurement of construction materials such as cement, steel, ready-mix concrete, electrical, plumbing, tiles, sanitary ware, paints, hardware, and finishing materials.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for residential projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.

Vendor Management

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations.
- Ensure vendor compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain an approved vendor database.

Cost Control Budgeting

- Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with project budgets.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses.

Contract Purchase Order Management

- Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and procurement contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Monitor contract compliance and resolve supplier-related issues.

Inventory Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with stores and site teams for material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.




- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with project managers, engineering, QS, and finance teams.
- Support project planning by ensuring material availability.
- Resolve procurement-related issues affecting project timelines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- MBA or PG Diploma in Materials Management is preferred.

Experience

- 08 15 years of experience in procurement and purchase functions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential real estate or property development companies.
- Experience in handling procurement for high-rise residential projects is preferred.
