Involves supporting the administration of Linux servers & systems, ensuring their optimal performance & security. Monitor system performance & perform routine maintenance & testing tasks while adhering to security procedures & policies and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements.

*Key Responsibilities of Role

Linux Infrastructure Management:

Assist in managing and maintaining Linux infrastructure.

Linux Server Administration:

Support the administration of Linux servers, ensuring availability, performance, and security.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

Monitor system performance and availability, performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of Linux environments.

Incident and Service Request Support:

Provide support for Linux-related incidents and service requests, escalating issues as needed for timely resolution.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Generate reports on system performance and health metrics.

Security Compliance and Best Practices:

Implement and adhere to security policies, procedures, and best practices for Linux environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work collaboratively with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure integrated and efficient operations of Linux systems.

Change Management in Linux Environments:

Assist in managing changes to Linux environments through rigorous testing, coordination, and documentation to minimize risks and disruptions.
