Role & responsibilities

- Provide functional support and maintenance for SAP Ariba Upstream modules, including Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RFX, Contracts, Supplier Registration, and Supplier Qualification workflows.
- Collaborate with procurement teams, business stakeholders, and SAP support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Support integration between SAP Ariba Upstream and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Assist end users with system functionality, process flows, and issue resolution.
- Participate in SAP Ariba implementation, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.
- Perform Ariba configuration, system administration, and functional support activities.
- Coordinate with SAP Ariba OSS and technical teams to resolve complex production issues.
- Prepare functional specifications, user documentation, training materials, and support guides.
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements to optimize procurement and supplier management processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and business process continuity.
- Support end-to-end procurement processes while ensuring compliance with business and organizational standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba Upstream modules (Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance - SLP).
- Must have participated in at least one end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation.




- Strong experience in supporting and maintaining SAP Ariba integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
- Good understanding of procurement, sourcing, contract management, and supplier lifecycle business processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP Ariba configuration, functional support, and system administration.
- Experience with Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) or other integration middleware is preferred.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Supplier Risk, or Ariba Analytics is an added advantage.
- SAP Ariba Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a support-driven environment with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline (B.E./B.Tech preferred).
