We are looking for a Database Engineer with a solid database development background. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL Server development, database design, query optimisation, ETL, and performance tuning. This role focuses on database engineering and application development support, not production database administration.

Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop SQL Server database objects (Stored
- Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers).
- Optimise SQL queries and database performance.
- Design database schemas and data models.
- Develop ETL processes and support data migration.
- Collaborate with application development teams.
- Maintain database documentation.

Required Skills:

- MS SQL Server and T-SQL development.
- Query optimisation and performance tuning.
- Database design and data modelling.
- ETL development and data migration.
- Git/Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
- Exposure to Azure/AWS/GCP is an added advantage.

Note: Candidates with a database development/engineering background are preferred. Production Support/SQL DBA profiles will not be considered.
