Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to review clinical documentation and accurately assign standardized medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, services, and equipment. The role ensures compliance with coding guidelines and supports uniform documentation across healthcare facilities.

- Review patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and other standard medical codes.
- Ensure coding quality, compliance, and documentation accuracy.
- Support quality audits and provide guidance to junior coders/freshers as an SME.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting client requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare BPO, E&M;, IP Multispecialty Coding.
- CPC Certification is mandatory/preferred.




- Experience as a QC Auditor or SME is an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of E&M; outpatient coding, multispecialty coding, and procedure coding.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications and healthcare systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Flexibility to work shifts (Monday-Friday) and additional hours/weekends based on business needs.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
