Qualifications
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication management
- 2 to 6 years of experience in hospital pharmacy
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for correct drug, dosage, quantity, and possible drug interactions.
- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
- Maintain proper records of medicines issued, received, and returned.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of essential medicines.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices and regularly monitor medicine expiry dates.
- Ensure proper storage and temperature control of medicines and vaccines.
