- Independently manage new product development projects from feasibility to production release.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements .
- Develop, optimize, and validate machining processes to meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain APQP and PPAP documentation as per customer requirements.
- Plan and execute process validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ (where applicable), with emphasis on OQ and PQ.
- Conduct process capability studies and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Tooling, and Supply Chain to ensure timely project execution.
- Perform quality sign-offs and ensure all documentation is completed before project release.
- Work closely with shop floor personnel during process development, trials, and production ramp-up.
Preferred candidate profile
- Robust knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of APQP, SPC, and MSA methodologies.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing PPAP documentation.
- Knowledge of Process Validation (OQ/PQ) and manufacturing validation requirements.
- Experience in CNC machining process development for precision medical components.
- Knowledge in problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Hands-on approach with willingness to work on the shop floor during product development and process implementation.
