Role & responsibilities :

- Procure civil construction materials as per project requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with site engineers to ensure timely material delivery.
- Monitor material availability and prevent project delays.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and procurement documents.
- Maintain procurement records and vendor databases.
- Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely procurement of materials.
- Work closely with project, stores, and accounts teams for smooth procurement operations.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 37 years of procurement experience in civil construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of construction materials and supplier network.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in handling multiple project procurement requirements.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP MM or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate effectively with site teams.
