We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) with 5+ years of experience in managing, optimizing, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Location: Chennai

Work Model: Night Shift USA Alaska Time Zone

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server (2019/2022/2025) environments.
- Manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
- Support cloud and hybrid database environments, including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Virtual Machines running SQL Server.
- Participate in database migration projects from on-premises to Azure.
- Perform database backup, restore, and recovery activities.
- Monitor database health, performance, and capacity, and proactively resolve issues.




- Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize database performance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL.
- Collaborate with application teams to implement database best practices.

Required Skills:

- Robust experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration (2019/2022/2025).
- Experience with Azure SQL services and hybrid database environments.
- Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
- Proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell, performance tuning, and database optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an added advantage.
