Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in the Asset Management domain to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications supporting investment management, portfolio management, trading, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have solid Core Java and Spring Boot skills along with a solid understanding of capital markets and asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with business analysts, portfolio managers, and QA teams to gather requirements.
- Develop applications supporting portfolio management, order management, trade lifecycle, and investment reporting.
- Integrate with market data providers, trading platforms, and downstream systems.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.




- Participate in code reviews and follow Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and coding standards.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8/11/17), Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

Asset Management Domain Experience (Mandatory)

- Experience working with Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets projects.
