Job Description:
Fidelity Investments' Workplace Solutions (WS) organization seeks a Senior Mainframe developer with 611 years of handson experience developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprisegrade mainframe applications. The candidate must have strong expertise across core mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and associated IBM mainframe utilities to support equity compensation products for the Global markets.

The Skills that are Key to this role
• Hands on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities
• Proven problem-solving abilities and analysis of complex mainframe programs is a must skill.
• Must be experienced in maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
• Must have worked in Mainframe application development.
• Must be able to negotiate, influence and work with business peers and management.
• Must have experience of working in an agile environment
• Ability to understand the requirements and come up with an optimal end-to-end solution
• Must possess strong analytical skills to review the production problems reported
• Able to do unit testing

Skills/Knowledge and experience:
• Operating Systems : Mainframe
• Languages : Mainframe (work experience is must),Good to have understanding of distributed technology.
• Database : DB2, exposure to Oracle DB
• Methodology : Agile
• Others : Prior experience on large scale IT Transformational Projects ( Migration, Modernization) is a plus
