To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

- Bachelors degree in accounting or related degree.
- CPA, CA, or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
- 1+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent (internal audit or regulatory compliance experience with a US financial institution will be considered).
- Experience working with financial institutions.




- Basic understanding of banking processes, including credit, operations, and payment processes.
- Basic understanding of frameworks including GAAP, COSO, Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley, and FDICIA .
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project owners/stakeholders.

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

- Master’s degree or further certifications/education, such as CAMS.
- Exposure to US banking regulatory framework, specifically regarding BSA/AML .
- Experience with financial systems including FIS, Jack Henry Silverlake, Fiserv, etc.
- Experience testing in Field guide.
