We are seeking a highly experienced and technically robust Network Lead to manage enterprise network operations within the Global Command Center (GCC). The ideal candidate should possess deep hands-on expertise in network infrastructure, routing, switching, firewalls, firmware upgrades, OS patching, security compliance, incident management, and operational governance across multi-customer environments.
The candidate will be responsible for leading network operations, handling critical incidents and escalations, driving infrastructure stability, ensuring security compliance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of network changes and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Network Operations within the Global Command Center environment.
- Monitor and support enterprise network infrastructure across multiple customer environments.
- Handle critical incidents, major outages, escalations, and ensure timely resolution within SLA timelines.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless, Internet, and Data Center network issues.
- Perform firmware upgrades, OS patching, and lifecycle management for routers, switches, firewalls, and network security devices.
- Manage configuration updates, backups, validation, and standardization across network infrastructure.
- Conduct pre-upgrade and post-upgrade validation activities to ensure network stability and minimal downtime.
- Perform L3 triage and troubleshooting for network-related incidents, patch failures, vulnerability findings, and performance issues.
- Ensure security compliance by addressing vulnerabilities and implementing remediation recommendations.
- Manage and support network security technologies including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and NAC solutions.
- Participate in Change Management activities including risk assessment, and implementation planning.
- Maintain proper documentation including SOPs, network diagrams, escalation matrices, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with Security, Infrastructure, Server, Cloud, and Application teams for successful execution of planned activities.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem Management activities for recurring incidents.
- Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers and conduct internal technical knowledge transfer sessions.
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, service review reports, and customer updates.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, and customer governance requirements.
- Support DC/DR operations, business continuity activities, and critical maintenance windows.
- Participate in on-call support and weekend maintenance activities whenever required.

- Expertise in incident triage, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of enterprise network security and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience in handling customer escalations and major incident management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Experience in 24x7 Global Command Center or Managed Services environments.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Ability to work under pressure during critical outages and maintenance activities.
Preferred Certifications

- Fortinet NSE Certifications

- ITIL Foundation Certification
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
