Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (PET)
Reports To: Principal / Head of Department

Job Summary

The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting physical education classes that promote students' physical fitness, health, teamwork, discipline, and overall well-being. The teacher also organizes sports activities, competitions, and encourages participation in extracurricular sports programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach students various sports, games, exercises, and fitness techniques.
- Develop students' physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Organize annual sports day, inter-school competitions, and other sporting events.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during physical activities.
- Assess and evaluate students' physical performance and progress.




- Identify and nurture talented students for competitive sports.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper usage and storage.
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits and physical wellness among students.
- Coordinate with school management for sports-related activities and events.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and activity reports.
- Stay updated with recent sports techniques, safety guidelines, and educational practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master's degree (M.P.Ed.).
- Valid teaching certification/license (if applicable).
- First Aid and CPR certification is an added advantage.
- Freshers are welcome
