Assistant Sales Manager - Job Description
Job Summary
The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations, sales
performance, and profitability of SIS (Shop-in-Shop) and Kiosk channels. The role involves driving
sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, managing manpower, maintaining inventory
accuracy, and overseeing cash collection processes across all assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Profitability
Drive sales achievement and revenue growth across SIS and Kiosk outlets.
Monitor store-wise performance and implement action plans to achieve sales targets.
Ensure overall profitability through effective cost and inventory management.
Analyze sales trends and improve productivity and customer experience.
Store Operations
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain compliance with SOPs, VM standards, and operational guidelines.
Coordinate with mall management, retail partners, and internal stakeholders.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and onboard promoters and sales staff.
Manage rosters, attendance, and weekly offs.
Coach, monitor performance, and ensure service standards.




Inventory Management
Maintain optimum inventory levels.
Ensure stock receipt, transfers, reconciliation, and replenishment.
Minimize stock losses and discrepancies.
Cash & Payments Report
Ensure timely cash collection and deposit reconciliation.
Monitor billing, POS operations, and compliance.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Track KPIs: sales, conversion, ATV, stock cover, shrinkage, profitability.
Provide business improvement insights.

Qualification & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
3-5 years of retail sales and operations experience managing SIS, kiosks, or multi-store formats.
Experience in team handling, inventory management, and channel profitability management is
essential.
