Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BMC Helix Developer with strong expertise in BMC Helix ITSM/ITOM and enterprise platform migration projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting BMC Helix solutions, along with proven exposure to ServiceNow to BMC Helix migration initiatives.

The candidate will be responsible for platform development, integrations, workflow automation, CMDB management, and large-scale migration activities while ensuring seamless IT service management operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the BMC Helix platform.
- Participate in large-scale migration projects, especially ServiceNow to BMC Helix migrations.




- Configure and customize BMC Helix ITSM and ITOM modules based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain workflows, automation rules, service catalogs, and approval processes.
- Perform data migration, transformation, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Configure and manage CMDB, CI relationships, and discovery integrations.
- Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations, webhooks, and third-party tool integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design, deployment, and optimization.
- Troubleshoot platform, workflow, and integration-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to platform best practices, governance, and performance standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, migration plans, and deployment procedures.
- Support testing, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor s degree with relevant IT experience.
- 9+ years of experience in BMC Helix development and administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- BMC Helix ITSM
- BMC Helix ITOM
- CMDB management and discovery
- Workflow development and automation
- Service catalog configuration

- Experience working with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM platforms.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow to BMC Helix migration projects.
- Strong understanding of:

- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- Webhooks
- Event management integrations
- ETL processes and data migration tools
- Data reconciliation methodologies

- Hands-on experience in integration development and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- BMC Helix certifications are highly preferred.
- ServiceNow certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale ITSM transformation programs.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
