About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Core Python Developer / Senior Python Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Python, modern web frameworks, API development, database technologies, and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python-based applications and backend services.
- Build scalable and secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Write clean,



modular, reusable, and well-documented code following object-oriented programming principles.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
- Work with SQL databases, ORMs, Redis, and MongoDB for efficient data management.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as PyTest.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture to deliver robust solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-based application development.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Core Python with excellent understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases.
- Experience working with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- Good exposure to Redis and MongoDB.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as PyTest.
- Robust understanding of Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native application development.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in Python application development.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage.
