Position Summary

We are seeking a CMDB Data Integration & Automation Consultant to support the
modernization and optimization of our CMDB data ecosystem. This contract role will focus on
CMDB data ingestion, normalization, integration, quality management, and automation across
ServiceNow and enterprise data platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB architecture, data
integration platforms (e.g., Informatica), data lakes (e.g., Databricks), and process automation,
with the ability to build scalable, reliable, and well-governed CMDB data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement CMDB data ingestion, normalization, reconciliation, and quality
enforcement processes using Informatica and related data integration tools.
‚• Establish and optimize integration between ServiceNow and Databricks, replacing
legacy file-based data transfer mechanisms.
‚• Enable efficient and timely consumption of trusted CMDB data, including incremental
changes and updates, within the enterprise data lake.
‚• Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and operational controls to proactively identify
and resolve integration or data quality issues.
‚• Ensure CMDB data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms.
‚• Assess CMDB architecture and operational processes to identify automation and
optimization opportunities.
‚• Collaborate with ServiceNow, Data Engineering, IT Operations,



and Architecture teams
to implement best practices for CMDB data management.
‚• Provide recommendations to improve CMDB governance, scalability, and operational
efficiency.

Required Qualifications
‚• 7+ years of experience in CMDB, ServiceNow, data integration, or data engineering
roles.
‚• Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB architecture, CSDM, and configuration
management processes.
‚• Hands-on experience with Informatica or similar data integration/ETL platforms.
‚• Experience integrating ServiceNow with up-to-date data platforms such as Databricks.
‚• Strong knowledge of data lakes, data pipelines, APIs, and change data capture
mechanisms.
‚• Experience implementing data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and automated
monitoring solutions.
‚• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
‚• ServiceNow CMDB or ITOM certifications.
‚• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or other cloud-based data platforms.
‚• Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
‚• Experience with automation, workflow orchestration, and operational process
improvement.
