Role: The Proto Manager plays a pivotal role in
managing prototype sample development and delivery, ensuring timely delivery to
cross-functional teams and customer.

Qualification: B.E with Mechanical Engineering/
EE/ECE Mechatronics/Production Engineering is preferred, will be 10+ years of
experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage internal and customer prototype deliveries
- Manage work schedules and job allocation for resources
- Liaise with plant team / EMS suppliers for build
requirements and delivery timelines.
- EBOM and MBOM for component-level analysis / understanding.
- EQ/TQ evaluations and approvals.
- Manage bare PWB procurement and ensure gerber file
accuracy.
- Manage supplier development for mechanical and electronic
components.
- Identify and mitigate risks for the sample build
activities
- Oversee end-item assembly aligned with DFM principles.
- Understanding of SMT process and knowledge on fixture
design and development.
- Prepare and manage PDIRs, SRD, and HSIS documentation.
- Lead TISAX and IATF16949 audits and ensure process
compliance.
- Manage shipping and logistics documentation.
- Proto team personnel management and appraisals.
?- Perform board-level
debugging using schematics.
- Utilize tools like CAN, CAPL scripting, and basic
automation.
- Handle lab equipment: RPS, Oscilloscope, DMM, Frequency
Generator, etc.
