- Manage end-to-end transportation for export and import shipments.
- Plan and monitor vehicle allocation, route optimization, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely movement of containers from customer locations, ICD, CFS, and Port.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation delays.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transporters.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements.
- Monitor transporter performance through SLAs.
- Ensure availability of vehicles during peak operational periods.
- Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance and cost optimization.
- Provide transportation updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Address transportation-related escalations and service issues.
- Ensure adherence to customer delivery commitments.
- Identify opportunities for route optimization and cost reduction.
- Candidates with minimum 5 to 8 years in transport management/team handling role are preferred.
