As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Application Design Engineer to join our Robotics & Automation team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Application Design Engineer to join our Automation & Robotics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing automation concepts, preparing techno-commercial proposals, project costing, and providing technical support throughout the sales cycle. This role requires close collaboration with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and internal engineering departments to drive business growth and secure project orders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support order booking targets and business growth for Robotics & Automation solutions.
- Understand customer requirements, RFQs,



technical specifications, SOPs, and commercial terms.
- Develop customized automation concepts and solutions based on customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive techno-commercial proposals within committed timelines.
- Create 2D/3D conceptual designs using SOLIDWORKS for customer presentations and solution visualization.
- Perform project costing, estimation, BOM preparation, and project value assessment.
- Identify and evaluate technical and commercial risks associated with proposals.
- Provide technical clarifications and conduct discussions with customers during proposal and negotiation stages.
- Collaborate with sales teams to secure customer approvals and order closures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and technology partners for technical and commercial inputs.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to evaluate product and process feasibility.
- Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to execution teams with complete documentation.
- Maintain proposal databases, costing standards, and project risk records.
- Lead and guide team members to achieve project and departmental objectives.
- Support and coordinate R&D; and technology development initiatives.

Essential Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation and Robotics Applications.
- Expertise in Proposal Engineering and Techno-Commercial Offer Preparation.




- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS for 2D & 3D Concept Design.
- Experience in Project Costing, Estimation, and BOM Preparation.
- Solid understanding of RFQs, Customer Specifications, and Technical Documentation.
- Customer Handling, Technical Presentation, and Negotiation Skills.
- Vendor Management and Supplier Coordination.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Die Casting Extraction Systems
- Injection Molding Extraction Systems
- Palletizing Applications
- Machine Tending Solutions

- Assembly Line Automation

Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation, Robotics, or Special Purpose Machine (SPM) industries.
