About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Technical Consultant to join our Finance Transformation practice. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the technical components that power Central Finance deployments from custom ABAP development and CDS-based reporting to Fiori app configuration and AIF error resolution. You will work at the intersection of finance and technology, turning complex business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for current company code deployments into the Central Finance landscape, including mapping configurations, BAdI implementations, and cutover activities.

- Monitor, analyze, and resolve Application Interface Framework (AIF) errors to ensure reliable, real-time financial data replication from source systems.

- Develop and enhance custom ABAP programs, function modules, exits, and BAdIs in support of CFIN functional requirements.

- Design and build ABAP CDS Views to support financial reporting, analytical queries, and downstream consumption by Fiori and SAP Analytics tools.

- Configure, extend, and support SAP Fiori applications relevant to the Central Finance landscape, including launchpad setup, OData service configuration, and UI5 customizations.

- Perform technical analysis on SLT replication issues, working alongside functional consultants to identify root causes and implement fixes.

- Collaborate with solution architects and functional leads to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure solution quality and system stability.





- Maintain technical documentation including design specs, development objects inventory, and transport logs.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 8 years of SAP technical development experience, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically within a Central Finance (CFIN) or S/4HANA Finance context.

- Strong hands-on experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) classes, interfaces, design patterns, and clean code practices.

- Proficiency in ABAP CDS (Core Data Services) annotations, associations, virtual elements, and consumption models.

- Practical experience with AIF (Application Interface Framework) error monitoring, custom namespace configuration, and resolution workflows.

- Solid understanding of SAP Fiori launchpad configuration, OData services (both SEGW and RAP-based), and SAP UI5 fundamentals.

- Working knowledge of SAP SLT and the CFIN replication framework, including mapping tables and postprocessing BAdIs.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA development tools Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools), CDS Test Environment, and transport management.

- Familiarity with core FI/CO concepts sufficient to understand finance data flows and business context.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AfO) workbook design, query integration, and end-user enablement.

- Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting technical components.

- SAP S/4HANA or ABAP certification.
