ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and execute Civil & Structural Design Engineering activities for Substation, Transmission, and Industrial Infrastructure Projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and engineering best practices.
- Perform and review the analysis and design of civil and structural components, delivering technically sound, protected, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Coordinate effectively with site teams, clients, consultants, vendors, and inter-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion of deliverables.
- Prepare, review, and approve design calculations, Design Basis Reports (DBRs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), engineering specifications, and technical documentation in line with project requirements.
- Lead the design and review of RCC structures, steel structures, equipment foundations, gantry structures, site grading, drainage systems, and associated civil works related to substations and transmission projects.
- Review vendor drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications,



quality standards, and constructability requirements.
- Support pre-bid engineering activities by addressing technical queries, developing conceptual designs, validating quantities, and providing engineering inputs for proposals and tenders.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and designers, ensuring quality outputs, improved productivity, and adherence to project schedules.
- Offer technical clarifications to site execution teams, resolve design-related challenges during construction, and support client approvals and engineering decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor engineering progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with relevant national and international design codes, client specifications, and organizational quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by promoting engineering best practices, knowledge sharing, and standardization within the team.
